Senior solicitors: Ben Lansbury – Managing Partner, Crime and Prison Law Supervisor
Ben is Managing Partner and Head of the Criminal Department at Lansbury Worthington. He studied criminal law at Nottingham University under leading academic Professor John Smith. He was awarded a B.A.Law in 1978. He was fortunate to learn his trade with some of the best criminal lawyers in London and, with more than 25 years experience in the field, is recognised for his expertise in all types of criminal proceedings ranging from the simplest to the most complex.Recent cases include conspiracy to defraud, money laundering and proceeds of crime confiscation proceedings, customs and excise prosecutions, computer crime and internet offences.Ben has been awarded higher advocacy rights giving him the right to represent clients in the Crown Court and the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division). He also deals with Personal Injury work and is immediate Past President of the West London Law Society.

Charles Worthington – VHCC, Personal Injury and Civil Law Supervisor
Charles is head of the Serious Fraud and Very High Cost Case (VHCC) team, as well as head of the Personal Injury department at Lansbury Worthington, and is responsible for civil litigation including actions against the police and employment law.

He studied at Goldsmiths’ College, University of London, graduating in History, and spent the next 4 years in London as a motorcycle courier awaiting inspiration as to his future career. He subsequently attended the College of Law and qualified as a solicitor in 1992. He has specialised in both criminal defence and personal injury law from an early stage and has been a criminal courts duty solicitor since 1993 and a member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel since 1995. He joined Ben Lansbury in 1999 to form what was to become Lansbury Worthington Solicitors.
